Summer's here, and the hive is buzzing. Rain departed - sunshine in. Now we are three: Aengus and Simon, artists/woodsmen/cooks/muck-movers in residence, have put a triumphant and occasionally messy end to solipsism. Kevin visits once in a while for good measure, though he clearly has his favourite.

Where's it all at? Near habitable, in parts. The good ship is almost buoyant of her own accord - working sockets and lights, a boiler and hot water tank in place (not connected yet, naturally - the story must be paced..); tiles on the top floor and in the domestic side, a garden with form, gas line laid, mains water tanks sealed and buried and a mountain of porcelain in the salone awaiting assignment. And of course the most important feature for the summer: a barbecue. May our neighbours be fortunate, happy and blessedly hard of hearing...
